You decide to try to find your stuff. Your phone must be somewhere nearby. You spot a bare patch of dirt a couple of feet a way and go check it out, but there's nothing to see but a pile of cigarette butts. Well, not a pile so much as an arrangement. Your eyes are struggling to transmit information to your brain, but after staring for a while and concentrating very, very hard, you're sure that the cigarette butts form an arrow. You drag your eyes along the ground in the direction the arrow is pointing and think you see something glint in the sun about 10 feet away.
